Just over a year ago, the coronavirus pandemic forced tens of thousands of small businesses across the country to close their doors and quarantine. Today, many businesses are still struggling to recover - some never reopened.
We realized that even though we had it tough, the people affected even more during 2020 than business owners were those who are served by non-profit organizations. - That’s how we came up with the Entrepreneurial Summit.
At our event, our speaker, Wadid Daoud, the owner of American Supply based out of Florida will travel here to share his formula for successful philanthropy.
Non-Profit Pitch Contest
Our three featured non-profit organizations - Canine Partners For Life, Second Chances Farm and Family Promise of Southern Chester County - will participate in a pitch contest, moderated by Dr. Bachelor, Senior Director of Statewide Continuing Education and Workforce at Penn State. The winner of the pitch contest will receive half of the money we collect, and the other half will be split between the remaining non-profit organizations.
The purpose of this event is to remind ourselves as entrepreneurs, how blessed we are to be able to work, to serve our families, employees, customers and each other.
